Sisters of Bede is the Women's Evening fellowship open to all women of the parish. The monthly potluck dinner meetings are held in Luther Hall at 7:00 p.m. on the first Monday of most months. The meetings are loosely structured. We pray together, enjoy a potluck meal, and have spiritual discussions. All women of the parish are invited to come join us for great food, fun, and fellowship!
We have several projects we work on together including our Party Venue Series,
A Family Christmas Trimming Party, our Christmas Gift Wrapping Service for parishioners,
and our Easter Morning Brunch. The proceeds from these events are used to support
the churches and its charities.
The Sisters also staff and care for the parish book cart. This cart is available during coffee hours after both services. Parishioners are invited to donate books and take home books for their enjoyment.

Save The DATE! The annualParty of Parties, sponsored by the Sisters of Bede, will be held on Saturday, October 9, 2010, at 6:00 p.m., in Luther Hall. It will be a Mexican Fiesta! This is the kick-off dinner for the 2010-2011 venue series hosted by parishioners throughout the year. At this party, you will have the opportunity to sign up for the venues you wish to attend.
The Sisters invite you to sponsor an event! You can sponsor an event individually, with a couple of friends, or another family. You can host at your home or in Luther Hall, or in a restaurant. An event can be a dinner, a cooking class, dancing lessons, or an excursion to your favorite place. Feel free to be creative!
Pick a theme, create a menu, choose a date, time, and place; decide how many guests you can host, and an appropriate charge. Events last year were priced from $15.00 - $75.00. Proceeds from these events will be given to the church and its charities. If you have any questions, or need ideas, please see one of the Sisters.
Please return this form to Daphne Moote or Annette Graw by Sunday, September 19, 2010. If you would like to host an event in Luther Hall, please notify us of the date and time by August 29th so we can ensure the hall will be available.
